It's been an amazing month, never have I needed a new liver more after the dancing on ice tour. It was a complete joy. What absolutely lovely people and how hard it became to judge them as you got closer and closer but that was my job and I became like a proud aunt! They all improved so much and the one who was amazing on the tour was Chris Fountain as he got better and better. He finished Hollyoaks while we were touring and just rocked it. Ray was a constant joy to watch, just a talent that is a joy to behold and Jess was unbelievable to watch as she grew in performance. Suzanne shaw was as wonderful as always and Kyran Bracken, be still my heart, what an amazing skater and talent. I think he should be acting soon, lets talk Vinnie Jones, lock stock and 2 smoking barrels. Melinda was every bodys favorite Girl as she is just beautiful and zoe salmon is included in the gorgeous girls. Well now i wish i could tell you Todd got better but unfortunately he didnt!! But he was wonderful entertainment every night for us all and i never stopped laughing.
What i do want to say is how much i admire the professional skaters. they work so hard and really have to pull these people through so much, I adore them.
My fellow judges were a joy and Robin and i really kindled an old friendship we had had from 15 years ago. it became my family for 5 weeks and i am missing them all already. I have so much admiration for these celebs because i learned a little skating and it was hard and i hurt myself!
I am so looking forward to the big band concerts in August we're already planning the set and rehearsals are set to start soon.
